The final week of tour is always the hardest. It feels like a war between the excitement to go home and sleep in your own bed and being really sad because you know you won’t see these people again for a long time. The people you tour with become your family– you literally see them and work with them every single day for weeks or months…and then suddenly you’re back home in Brooklyn, pretending to be a real person for a little while. It’s a difficult adjustment. I had the best time on the Honda Civic Tour– I’ve been home for only a few days and already miss everyone so much. Following tradition, there were some pretty amazing tour pranks at the last show, and lots of fireball shots to go around. I am really happy to say I made some amazing friends who I know I’ll stay in touch with. Betsy Newman, who so kindly shot all of these beautiful photos, was one of four girls on the whole tour, and I am so thankful to have gotten to know her. It’s so rare to meet ladies on the road that you connect with, and I feel really lucky that I had that. I would also like to say a huge thank you to my lovely & chic friend Lisa for letting me guest blog during the tour. Please check out her posts if you haven’t!
Without further ado, here are the final week’s outfits:
I recently received an amazing package from Missguided, and I was SO excited to find this adorable dress inside! I love the layers in the skirt and the lace sleeves– it makes me feel like Alice in Wonderland. The dress has a plunge neckline, so I layered a bralette underneath, and paired it with my garter shorts and thigh highs to add a little edge.

The Philly show took place in Chinatown, and it was FREEZING outside, so I felt it was the perfect opportunity to rock my new coat. I think faux fur is essential to every winter wardrobe, and I love this one from Missguided– it easily dresses up any outfit, and it’s surprisingly warm!

I get asked about my eyeliner a lot, so here is the low-down: I use Makeup ForeverAqua Black Waterproof Cream Eye Shadow from Sephora. I apply it with a super thin makeup brush like this one, also by Makeup Forever. I like the gel because it’s waterproof and lasts all day, and I find that applying it with a long eyeliner brush allows for more precision and helps me draw straighter lines when doing the cat-eye. I draw on the dots and fill in any “blank” spaces along my lash-line with this skinny liquid liner by Revlon. The best advice I can give, however, is that practice makes perfect! I’ve been doing the cat-eye every day for years and I still mess up sometimes (recently I’ve been learning how to do it in the back of the van while it’s moving– not easy), but the more you do it, the better you’ll get, and you’ll find the style & shape that works for you.
